Introduction to Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a modern behavioral approach that helps individuals develop psychological flexibility—the ability to be open to experiences, stay present, and engage in meaningful actions aligned with personal values.
